And fun was had by all….
This weekend was chock full of Christian loving and style. I had the unique opportunity to assist with wardrobe styling with the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel show at the BET studios in Washington, DC (thanks to Genevieve Nixon, uber producer!). I had the pleasure of meeting premiere gospel artists (Tonex, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Wess Morgan, Ricky Dillard, Canton Jones, Shirley Murdock, Lexi, Shirley Ceaser, Karen Clark-Sheard, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, to name a few) and Dr. Bobby himself. His choir, the Nashville Super Choir, was an awesome group of vocalists who hailed from the great gospel families of legend (Pace sisters, etc.) Not much too commentary—it was a wonderful weekend and I was able to learn from some great wardrobe stylists (Tanya Bailey of BET and Shelly of Image 7 Studio),meet the gospel greats, and network, network, network!
