Ok, I am waiting for the Sex and the City movie like the rest of the Carrie/Samantha/Miranda/Charlotte fanatics. I was especially excited that a sista was going to be on the cast. I mean, someone had to come on after Blair Underwood….
But, I my excitement dimmed once I saw some stills of Jennifer Hudson online. I know that she probably has zero control over wardrobe, but they can do better than this…Patricia Fields, the movie’s costume designer is known for her own quirky tastes–but it works for her. I am not so sure that J Hud can work this look. Hopefully, better yet, prayerfully, her character matches the wardrobe, cuz this just ain’t working for me!
