Style File: Trina

I recently had an opportunity to speak to the “Diamond PrincessAKA hip-hop recording artist Trina. I can sincerely tell you that she was a delight to speak with and was very down-to-earth. Although she may boast of riches, diamonds, houses, cars, clothes, etc., she is very humble and open to talk about most subjects. Since I have declared myself a fashionista, of course we only talked about fashion and style!!

Before I post the interview, lets just take a look at Trina’s Style File, shall we?

She’s definitely not afraid to bare her body with ultra low-cut ensembles and peek-a-boo lingerie….

and her collection of colorful and bold bustiers further prove her fearlessness….

Occasionally she finishes her look with embellished mid-calf to thigh high boots

but, she can change up her style with a simple jean chic look

Big, bold signature glasses are some of her best friends….

but, of course, she couldn’t go without her best friends of all, DIAMONDS:

Recently, Miss Trina is changing up her still game just a lil’ bit:

Personally, I am loving the new look. Because she adores diamond jewelry, she should, for the most part, stay with simple, statement outfits that allow the diamonds to be singular showpieces…which these outfits do best.

For example, if I were her stylist for a day, I would suggest this daytime look (keep in mind: East Coast Fall weather):

A black DVF dress that showcases her new, slender figure. I would also give her a twist on her fave boot look..with some fab booties! These pairs from Jonathan Kelsey give her that rock star studded look, while the pair from Christian Louboutin with the fringy ruffles give a smooth, sophisticated look with a touch of fun sex appeal.

She can top off the look with a diamond bracelet, diamond studs or hoops, and if necessary, a diamond pendant. I wouldn’t suggest anything too ostentatious…this toned down look will force onlookers to focus on her diamond appeal and nothing else…

Stay tuned…tomorrow I will post the style interview and present a few more of my suggestions. In the meantime, keep it strictly stylish!

she should tone down make-up wise and the tight clothes. She’s got a beautiful smile and I love the black hair on her.

Love your page, it’s similar to mine. We have the same likes and goals; we need to chat outside the blogs. I love Trina and agree with ur idea or showing off her new figure. I also agree accessories are key to make something understated stand out!!!! Keep up the good work
