It’s Liz, Aminah’s roommate. Well I’m natural as well and I spent most of my life on nappturality and other hair blogs. I just found out about this product line called curls by sisters smith. It’s supposedly really good and ridiculously inexpensive (and all natural). I don’t think it gets any better than those 3. Check out its reviews on nappturality. I’m going to buy some and I’ll let you know what I think!

This product is fabulous because it is light, great smelling, and all natural. To start you wash your hair, then apply the custard throughout. Each day, spray your hair with water to reactivate the gel.
I especially like this product over miss jessie’s not only because it is half the price, but also you don’t have to weigh your hair down by reapplying it everyday. Kinky Curls Curling Custard is fabulous.
Kinky Kurly ‘s amazing, I’ve been using it for about a month now and can’t live without it, I definitely recommend this product hands down. I didn’t realize my hair would curl so nicely until I used the product.
Kinky Kurly really is truly AWESOME!! I used soooo many different things and what is amazing to me is that your hair comes out so beautiful, shiny, textured and most importantly moisturized. Miss Jessie’s is not intended for kinky hair AT ALL…they need to stop advertising that and know that you definitely need to just have CURLY hair ONLY with NO kink for Miss Jessie’s products to work..plus the fact that they are ridiculously pricey!! Don’t be fooled by the imitators..(Hair Rules, Miss Jessie’s etc.) They will only leave your hair sticky, dry, brittle and horrible. KINKY KURLY IS THE WAY TO GO FOR LADIES WHO TRULY ARE KINKY CURLY!!!

Well, girl I hoped you purchased the KCCC before the price rose to $30. I tried it and was not impressed. It was alright, just wasn’t amazing. I got a sample of Mineral Indulgence’s Hi Shine Curl Define (the ingredients are similar to KCCC’s only percentage wise it looks more organic), and let me tell you my curls were poppin all over the place. I might use KCCC to slick my edges back but the Hi Shine is the truth for my 3c curls right now.
I bought Kinky Curly CC and gave it away. I’d rather use knot today alone or some other heavy conditioner as a styling produt. The curling custurd is too sticky and crunchy for me. I hate for my hair to be hard and weighed down. Miss Jesse’s has a better product even though they’re expensive. The best way to get body/volume is to use a diffuser on the tip of your blow dryer. Sit down on the toilet with your head turned down and blow.Silk Elements gel works well, I just hate the blue color.
