Hello fab male readers!
I was checking out Details magazine online, and they had some fab tech devices that they believe will be a hit with all men who need to be in the know of all things cool…and I agreed!
Sennheiser MX W1
Wireless headphones are finally going from novelty to necessity, and there was no better example of the trend than these architectural earbuds from Sennheiser. Their design may not be for everyone—though we don’t mind it—but you’re certain to like the sound quality, which uses Kleer technology instead of Bluetooth. Just remember: Freedom of movement is best used judiciously. Available in May, price not yet set, sennheiserusa.com
2. Hot new Samsung phone

Samsung SGH-i450
This gorgeous gadget from Samsung isn’t quite as badass as Nokia’s N95, but it’s got one key improvement—a rubberized touch-sensitive scroll wheel. Well, make that two: It also sports a mini Bang & Olufsen amp for impressive audio fidelity. Throw in a full gig of media-storage capacity and a 2-megapixel camera, and you’ve got something unique: a multitasking phone that actually multitasks well.

3. B& W wireless surround sound system
Bowers & Wilkins Liberty
The Anglo audiophiles at B&W have unveiled one of those things that should have existed years ago—a wireless system capable of transmitting full 5.1 surround sound. As you’d expect, sound quality is pristine, thanks to their B&W’s signature Nautilus tube tweeters and Kevlar drivers. The price is still TBD, but expect to pay a pretty penny. Still, think of all the money you’ll save on speaker cables—at least that’s what we’d tell the girlfriend.

4. Pacemaker DJ in your pocket

Pacemaker DJ system
It won’t help your heart, but this Pacemaker will cure the back pain of mobile DJs everywhere, since it lets them pack the equivalent of turntables, a mixer, and music into a pocket. The PSP-sized unit has a crossfader and pitch control for beat mixing, and the 120-gig hard drive (which works with Mac, PC, and most digital formats) means you don’t even need your iPod if you want to hijack the sound system at a party—though, frankly, that’s not always the best move if you want to be invited back.
$750, available in February, pacemaker.net
5. Pioneer ultra-thin 50″ plasma TV

Pioneer Project Kuro
For years, Pioneer has been top dog in the Flat Pack, and based on this 50-inch plasma, the company is serious about retaining that position. As you’ve come to expect from Pioneer (and the name Kuro, which is Japanese for “black”), this set renders night scenes with extraordinary depth. Still, it’s also remarkably shallow—only 9 millimeters thick, to be exact.
