SO, I get about 25% of my daily hits based on the Google search “high waisted jeans“….I thought that now would be a great time. Apparently, the high waisted denim/trouser look in still in and swinging at full force. Even though I was a bit skeptical at first, I eventually traipsed over to my neighborhood Intermix in Georgetown and tried on a pair last fall. Needless to say, I have a great pair of Earnest Sewn high waisted denims…for which I was highly adorned with compliment and praise when I wore them. I am now definitely sold…LOL!

UPDATE: Soror Jongalin sent me a message about Deelishis’ (that’s right, Flava of Love Season 2 winner) new jean line, D cut. It has high waisted jeans for those who, hmmm, let’s say, those who can’t fit into regular high waisted jeans quite so well. She is wearing a pair (middle) in the pic below:
