Strictly Fab Find of the Week: Fashion for Your Pretty Little Minds

I’m slowly getting back to the ‘Net full-time so forgive if I am not as quick on my fashion feet as usual. Since Monday is the start of a week that is all that is fabulous (or so I like to think), I thought I’d drop some reviews about some fab fashion books…based on television series.

If you are TRUE fashionista, you HAVE to be both a Sex and the City and Ugly Betty fan. With all of the high fashion and high drama, it is look moths…or really fabulous butterflies….to a flame for haute couture fans and divas.

Now that studying is over, I plan on jumping back on the stupendous saddle of fashion in a frenetic frenzy…wooo!

SEX AND THE CITY (THE MOVIE)

I loved the movie and I love the book even more. Here’s a review from Harper Collins site

In addition to a storybook-style telling of the film, the book includes mouth-watering bonus features not available anywhere else: behind-the-scenes stories from Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, star and producer Sarah Jessica Parker, writer and director Michael Patrick King, as well as producers and other key cast and crew members; a guide to the movie’s multi-million—dollar fashion closet, including insight from costume designer Patricia Field; and an insider’s tour of the movie’s many locations, some of which have never before appeared on film.

UGLY BETTY

Ugly Betty is a series that I fell upon while channel surfing..and I fell in absolute love!

Here’s a description about the book from the ABC site:

Designed to resemble fictional fashion bible Mode magazine, Ugly Betty: the Book offers insider interviews with the cast and creative team as well as a comprehensive episode guide.

Features include:

  • How to win at work
  • Your style horoscope
  • Hilda’s quick ‘n’ easy makeup tips
  • How to diva up your office space
  • Complete access to every character’s style
  • And much, much more!

Have a strictly stylish day!
