Lipstick Jungle Premiere

The season premiere of Lipstick Jungle was last night and it was completely fab! I loved the plotlines. Here’s a little piece of heaven for you in case you missed it:

Nico, a high-powered publishing executive, struggled with telling her husband Charles that she had an affair with the much younger Kirby, especially after he purchased a picture of her half-naked body (photographed by Kirby after a lovemaking session). She then later admitted to him that she cougared Kirby after she attempted to have sex with the resistant Charles (even after she got the “Miracle Shot” in her G-spot–what was he thinking?) He became outraged and next thing you know, he’s packing a bag to prepare for heart surgery–mind you, he hadn’t told her about it. While Niko is shopping at the hospital flower shop with her girls Wendy and Victory, she sees his always-there student teachiing assistant, who has the nerve to tell her that she has more right to be there than Niko and proceeds to show her protruding pregnant belly (while proclaiming that she and Charles are preparing a “life” together). Charles ends up dying in the recovery room–leaving a distraught Niko (who’s even more ticked off when she finds out that the louse has been cheating for years, has known about her affair all along, and is prepping a case for abandonment) and a pregnant co-ed. She and the girls end up laughing at his funeral….she is pretty twisted off the brown and white liquors at this point…
