Ok…I’m a little late on this, but if you don’t know by now, H&M has a line designed by Comme des Garcon. After introducing lines by Madonna and Roberto Cavalli, the fervor for economical designer duds has only steadily risen in the midst of the world’s financial meltdown. Who cares if you’re broke if you look totally fab?  At least you look like you have some money…LOL!

“I have always been interested in the balance between creation and business. It is a dilemma, although for me creation has always been the first priority. It is a fascinating challenge to work with H&M since it is a chance to take the dilemma to its extreme, and try to solve it”, says Rei Kawakubo, COMME des GARÇONS.

I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of the pieces….if they are any left.  H&M launched the line by Commes des Garcon last week.  I’ll let you know what I end up getting….
