In partnership with Lab Series for Men, Rufus Apparel, Whirlpool Appliances, and Kirby Allison’s Hanger Project, Be Better Guys will give a recent college or professional school graduate the basics that any guy can use starting in his professional life. From May 25, 2009 until June 28, 2009, submit a video or digital photo and a short essay (300-500 words) about yourself or a significant other, family member, friend, and how the man could benefit from an upgrade.

The contest winner will receive a shirt and tie from Rufus, grooming products from Lab Series for Men, a valet set from Kirby Allison, a Fabric Freshener from Whirlpool, and a consultation with Brian Joyner and David Boris of Be Better Guys to put him on the road to being a Better Guy. Second prize gets a DKNY Men grooming set and Be Better Guys products. The winner will be announced on NBC-4 in Washington, DC and may appear on the 4 pm news with Boris and Joyner.

Rules: Participants must be males at least 18 years old or older living in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area and recent graduates of a college or university’s bachelor, master, or professional program.

An essay (no more than 500 words) and a photograph, and/or video (up to 90 seconds and 5 megabytes), must be provided electronically or through the mail. An individual may submit himself or be submitted by another person one time only. The person with the most engaging/entertaining and earnest submission will win the grand prize. Videos may be displayed up the BBG website and on related social media, such as YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, Tumblr.

Contest Rules

Personally identifiable information that is submitted by Contestants as part of this Promotion will be used to administer the Promotion, select prize winners and fulfill prizes. Your name and email address will not be sold or provided to any third-party.
