I have been scouring the web and the local scene for a new fashion inspiration…and I have found it!  Believe it or not, I am loving the re-appearance of leather skirts–but it’s not what you think.  Instead of the leather skirts that our moms (or grandmoms for some of you) wore in the 80s, these skirts have been re-imagined for cross-generational appeal.

This look on Isla Fisher is how a leather skirt SHOULD be worn if you are going the traditional route…however, I like those with a tad bit more flair.  Check out my faves below:

I like the look, however, I would have to pair it with a fitted top–like a tank with a bolero.  If you’re going to wear leather, might as well do it up!
