Strictly Fab Dating: Do you know what you’re putting out?

Do you remember the Justin Timberlake song “Summer Love?”   The chorus goes like this:

I can’t wait to fall in love with you
You can’t wait to fall in love with me
This just can’t be summer love, you’ll see
This just can’t be summer love (L-O-V-E)

Summer always brings out an overload of endless flirting, lovey-doveyness, and just pure lust….and pure lust sometimes clouds our lucidity lens when the temperatures flair and the special parts of our bodies are moistened by the heat (and a few other things..).  Clear up your lust lens and ditch the potential one-night stands (or crazy stalkers) by following some of these tips below:

1.  Determine exactly what you’re looking for BEFORE you go out.  This will cut the chaos and confusion—and drive your wardrobe decision.  If you’re looking for a one-night stand, slut-tastic is the way to go.  If you’re looking for a summer love, subtle sexy is the plan.  If you’re looking for a hubby, luscious demure might work best—but then again, it depends on the environment. 2.  Your destination will completely limit–or expand–your choices.  Don’t expect Mr. Right-Wh0-Is-Ready-To-Be-Married-And-Have-2.5-Kids-Tomorrow-Guy.  If you are going to any event that ends in “Bash”, “Jam”, or “Jump-off”, expect to find Mr.-Right-Now-And-We’ll-Have-A-Splendid-Time-Tonight.  Remember, this is a summer love that you’re seeking–it may develop into soulmate status–but be wary of the hot bodies that will come your way at these soirees.

3.  Every now and then, abandon common sense and have some all out fun while you’re out this summer.  Many times, we meet the “One” when we aren’t even looking for him/her.  Unlock your free and easy self and partake in some good ‘ol dirty fun—anyway that works for you.  You will be much less prone to being judgmental or critical—and that may open the door for more folk to be attracted to you.  Confidence is always the most attractive feature in anyone.
