Although winter is in full bloom, spring is on the way…and definitely in the stores. I was browsing thru ye olde Mall, and I saw so many looks that I loved. Yellow, white, blue, and black were displayed prominently on the perfectly shaped, formed, and coiffed mannequins. Please remember that the dummies are not real and no woman looks that perfect in real life….
Instead of buying some pieces in Le mall, I headed to my neighborhood Tar-Jay to peruse the racks. I actually do try to stay within some modicum of a budget…and keep a happy marriage. I was able to find two pieces that will be the catalysts for my colorblock collection.

I then added to my collection by picking up this top from New York and Co. for about $25
If the solid colors are too extreme for you, break up the colors. Try on this striped mesh Dolman Sweater from Express. A little pricier at 60 bucks, but it is still quite affordable.
