What’s your next great leap in your life. You might be getting married, buying a house, getting a new job, running a marathon, etc. My next is leap is moving into a new home. It’s twice as big as my old home–and I only have 2 days to move! Here’s what I need to do to prepare:
- create a decorating budget
- buy the supplies
- de-clutter the old home
- clean, paint, redo landscaspe of old home
- actually move into the new home!
This is such a big move for me because I am actually planting some roots into a community. I have had wanderlust since a teenager–I guess it had to do with the fact that my family moved at least every 2 years into a new neighborhood. I have no problem picking up my entire life and moving into an entirely different area, so I rarely spent more than 2 years in any neighborhood. I love new places and meeting new people. So, for me to actually plant my flag in the same area for more than 5 years is a milestone and a huge leap into a new phase into my life—where my kids futures have priority over my own traveling desires…it’s family time! I will actually be in the same neighborhood for more than 5 years….wowzers!

Next big leap- Hopefully a new job in a field I love to raise money for- childhood cancer. Live your passion and create communities that care.
My next big leap will be graduating with my PhD! Once that is done I’m hoping to relocate, get a new job and start fresh!
My next big leap would be to relocate as well. My plan was to move in 2010 after my oldest graduated from highschool, but it was put on hold after the housing industry took a hit. But we’re revisitng the thought again. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
